A SMALL trainer couldn't contain his excitement after his horse won at the Galway Races.

Peter Lawlor, who is based in Co Wicklow, was celebrating after Summer Snow won the caulfieldindustrial.com Handicap under jockey Rory Cleary on Tuesday evening at odds of 8/1.

Peter admitted he was heading to the bar and said he would sleep in his van if he had to.
