Fab fears nasty Nick shock will leave Seagulls in a flap
-
KARL-HEINZ RUMMENIGGE reckoned Newcastle were "idiots" for splashing a club record €79m on Nick Woltemade - but Fabian Hurzeler clearly doesn't agree.
The Brighton boss is a big fan of Toon's new cult hero — but wouldn't mind if his German countryman drew a blank at the Amex today.
Bayern Munich legend Rumm-enigge claimed Bundesrivals Stuttgart had found an "idiot" in Toon willing to pay so much for the towering striker (23), who headed the winner for his country against Northern Ireland in midweek.
It continued Woltemade's impressive start to life since his switch to Tyneside after he found the net in his previous three club appearances.
Hurzeler said: "I've known about Nick for a long time. My assistant coach Daniel (Niedzkowski) worked with him in the national team setup so I've always been interested in his development.
