HAMILTON: ANDY'S AGING SIDE COULD STRUGGLE TO STAY A SIX NATIONS FORCE

IRELAND'S era of Six Nations dominance is set to end — reckons one of rugby's top analysts.

Ex-Scotland player Jim Hamilton is a big fan of Irish rugby but thinks a mix of injuries to Andy Farrell's team plus their ageing profile is about to hurt them.

And that'll come as a BIG shock to Ireland fans who are used to competing for Six Nations honours.

Thirteen years have passed since Ireland last finished in the bottom half of the Championship, with Joe Schmidt bagging THREE titles and Farrell adding another TWO, including the 2023 Grand Slam.

On top of that there has been second-place finishes in 2017, 2022 and while the team finished THIRD last year, they still managed to nail a Triple Crown, posting four wins from their five matches.

But 63-times Scotland cap Hamilton fears the good days are about to end.
