Report says housing target could be short by 6,000
THE Government will miss its housing targets again this year, the Central Bank of Ireland has warned.
It stated just 35,000 properties will be built in 2025, well below the 41,000 target.
It follows the CBI correct prediction that the coalition would miss its housing targets for 2024.
Its first bulletin of the year reported: "Completions are forecast to rise to 35,000, 40,000 and 44,000 in 2025, 2026 and 2027, respectively.
