GAA+ set to land big Clare ties

TWO of All-Ireland champions' Clare's Munster Hurling Championship ties are set to be screened on subscription channel GAA+.

It's the same for the Tipperary hurlers, with two of their four Munster ties almost certain to be on the GAA's newly-branded streaming service, which is set to show three Munster hurling ties in total.

And it has also emerged that plans to move this year's All-Ireland hurling quarter-finals to a Sunday date appear to have come to nothing.

Hurling fans were annoyed last year that their fourth and fifth biggest games of their season were fixed for a Saturday rather than a Sunday.
