Court told attack linked to land row
A FORMER councillor is to be sentenced after admitting assaulting a man and damaging his van.
Gareth Reid, 42, appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to charges arising out of a family dispute over land.
The ex-Fine Gael representative admitted the charges which occurred following an incident at Knockfair, Stranorlar, Co Donegal, in May 2021.
