DEV: JUST LEAF DERRY IN THE BIN

Devlin (above), who was Mickey Harte's right-hand man in Derry last year, believes current boss Paddy Tally should have “run a million miles away from the job”.

And the Ardboe man, who won All-Ireland medals with Tyrone at minor, under-21 and senior level, added the Derry players are 'sulking'.

Devlin stated that unless Rory Gallagher (below) takes over Derry again, it would be better to “put that team in the bin and build a new team.”

The Louth GAA Underage Football Development Co-Ordinator was speaking after Derry were beaten 1-25 to 1-15 at MacCumhaill Park in the Ulster Preliminary Round by Donegal.
