Howe eyes Wembley repeat and wont underestimate the Bantams

- BY LEE RYDER

EDDIE HOWE has warned he won't take Bradford City lightly tonight and pledged to play a team featuring first-team stars against the League One minnows.

Howe benched Joelinton, Bruno Guimaraes, Kieran Trippier and Anthony Elanga in the 0-0 stalemate at Bournemouth at the weekend.

The Magpies go in as Carabao Cup holders but now have the added pressure of defending their title.

Howe - who made seven changes away to the Cherries - will make some tweaks to his team but is still set to play Anthony Gordon, Elanga, Aaron Ramsdale, and skipper Jamaal Lascelles against the Bantams.

Unlike sides such as Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, Toon don't have a host of quality youngsters to rely on.

Howe said: “We still have to win games and be competitive.
