Tourists charged €2 to take snaps from Cobh garden

AN Irish family are charging tourists €2 each to use their garden to take photos of an iconic local scene - and joke that the money is going towards a Ferrari for their son.

The unnamed clan are allowing visitors to Cobh to enter their property in order to get a shot of the Cork harbour town's 'Deck of Cards' landscape.

The view, featuring nearly two dozen different-coloured homes on a hill known as West View, has been popular for years, but until recently was difficult to photograph.

However, the local household has now been leaving their garden open for tourists to snap away - and have put out a donation box too.
