IT'S almost time to celebrate Easter - and what better way to do so than cracking open a chocolate egg and watching a movie?
From classic movies set over Easter to favourites that celebrate luscious chocolate and funny bunnies, here are some egg-cellent choices.
When it comes to family fun, recent release Wonka sees Timothee Chalamet put his own stamp on the character of Willy Wonka. The origin story of how the young Wonka became a sweet success is a love letter to chocolate and confectionery.
A wonderful musical from 1948, Easter Parade is the kind of throwback classic the entire family can get lost in. Two of the greatest entertainers ever to grace our screens - Fred Astaire and Judy Garland - star in a witty tale set around a Broadway musical.
Kids will get a kick out of the escapades of the mischievous bunny in Peter Rabbit and its sequel Peter Rabbit 2. Peter and his siblings have a blast spending their days in Mr McGregor's vegetable garden - but when a new relative moves in, he's not happy with the gathering of bunnies at his new home. The stage is set for rabbits vs humans, who include Rose Byrne and our own Domhnall Gleeson, in the films inspired by Beatrix Potter's stories.
SPOOKY
For families who prefer their bunnies on the spooky side, go no further than Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. The geniuses at Aardman animation studios provide plenty of laughs and drama in this film, which parodies many of the modern horror tropes.
