Being a grandad absolutely rocks

He plans to do it again in 2026, a transatlantic trot that includes a show at Dublin's Croke Park on August 30.

But none of it can compare to the joy of being a grandad.

"It's fantastic... it's another chapter," says the rock legend, who has been married to high school sweetheart Dorothea since 1989.

Their son Jake and his actress wife Millie Bobby Brown, 21, recently adopted a baby girl, making Jon a grandad for the first time.

And he adds: "My son Jesse and his wife are expecting in the next week, so I'll have two. If we got the phone call today, Dorothea's on the next plane home. It's literally any day now.

"We're so excited as we'll have two of them for the holidays. It'll be a unique Christmas in the house."

For the Livin' On a Prayer singer, 63, family life has always come first.

Jon and Dorothea have four children - Stephanie, 32, Jesse, 30, Jake, 23, and Romeo, 21.
