Wood gives under-pressure boss Postecoglou vote of confidence

- BY SARAH CLAPSON

CHRIS WOOD believes Nottingham Forest can become a “force to be reckoned with" under Ange Postecoglou.

The Reds are yet to register a win since Postecoglou replaced Nuno Espirito Santo little more than a month ago.

Five of the Aussies seven games in charge have ended in defeat - and it has left him under significant pressure ahead of Forest's return to Premier League action on Saturday.

Chelsea are the visitors to the City Ground and striker Wood is confident the tide will soon turn.

“Football is up and down,” said Wood from the New Zealand camp.

“It’s never a straight line up in the footballing world, you always have your little dips in games and in situations in the season.
