Compilation album has some of the band's finest moments

In football terms, they say your team is only as good as your bench. When you've got B-sides like Talk Tonight, Going Nowhere and the ubiquitous Half The World Away, then you've got something special. Serious Champions League contenders.

It's probably cheating to have a compilation album like this - possibly the fourth best Oasis album, perhaps higher, and certainly no lower in the rankings.

Yet all the tracks were backups, B-sides, initially deemed not fit for release on their own. It's a musical scandal of the ages that they were tucked away.

The compilation opens with Acquiesce, which appeared in 1995 on the back side of Some Might Say, the band's first UK No.1.
