AJ hails impact of 'big personality' Tierney

ALISTAIR JOHNSTON has shared a dressing room with some of the game's top talents, including Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David.

But even he's been blown away by the impact Kieran Tierney has made - both on and off the pitch.

The Celtic defender admits it was vital for the Hoops to replace the influence of Greg Taylor and believes there was no better man to fill his shoes.

Johnston said: "It's been great and he's a big personality.

"That was something that we needed with Greg Taylor leaving.

"Losing him was not only big on the pitch but off the pitch as well.
