Toon star Guimaraes a big fan of new-boy Woltemade

BRUNO GUIMARAES insists Newcastle were the real winners of the summer transfer window after landing 6ft 6in German star Nick Woltemade from under the noses of Bayern Munich.
The Brazil star has been impressed by Woltemade's start to life on Tyneside, after he took his tally to four goals in the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest with a magnificent strike from the spot, helping erase memories of Alexander Isak.
Having arrived at St James' Park under intense scrutiny, with Bayern legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge branding Toon chiefs "idiots" for paying the £69million fee, Woltemade is repaying Newcastle in goals.
Bruno dismissed the summer of despair, which saw Isak sold to Liverpool, and admitted Toon have landed a real star.
When asked about the Bayern comments, Bruno shrugged and said: "Nick is showing his talent on the pitch.
