Parents' 20th birthday message to Madeleine
THE parents of missing Madeleine McCann marked her 20th birthday yesterday by telling her: "We're waiting for you."
Madeleine was just three when she vanished from her mum and dad's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007. Kate and Gerry McCann were dining with friends in a nearby restaurant when she vanished.
The couple, from Rothley, Leics, hope she is still alive and they will one day be reunited.
They marked Madeleine's birthday with a small private family gathering yesterday.
