PRINCE Andrew's sex accuser Virginia Giuffre was proud of the role she played in his downfall, her family say.

The mum-of-three, who died in April aged 41, led the fight to bring paedophile Jeffrey Epstein to justice.

Ms Giuffre also claimed she was twice trafficked to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was 17.

He has always denied her allegations against him but paid her millions in 2022 to settle a lawsuit.

The settlement did not involve any admission of liability on his behalf, and Andrew, 65, denies ever having any sexual contact with her.

But the scandal led to him stepping back from royal life after a disastrous BBC Newsnight interview in 2019.

Ms Giuffre was proud of herself for her role in his fall from grace, her sister-in-law Amanda Roberts says.

Amanda added: "When people told her 'no', or people told her they wouldn't believe her, or that she was crazy, she would say, 'Watch me'."
