'TIS THE SCREENING

LIFE IS SWEET Banshees, Home Alone and Wonka

RTE has unveiled its Christmas movie schedule with a clutch of blockbusters and festive classics to enjoy.

Irish acting royalty Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell and Barry Keoghan star in the TV premiere of The Banshees of Inisherin.

Cillian Murphy gives an Oscar-winning performance in his portrayal of theoretical physicist and father of the atom bomb Oppenheimer.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling show “life in plastic” isn’t always fantastic in Barbie.

Also on this year’s movie menu are blockbuster hits Belfast and Raiders of the Lost Ark and festive family favourites It's a Wonderful Life, Home Alone, The Holiday and Love Actually.
