DEFENDING champion Shaun Murphy hopes he can cope with the Ally Pally pressure cooker to complete a memorable hat-trick of Masters crowns.

The Magician conjured up a spellbinding display last season to beat arch-rival Kyren Wilson 10-7 in a stellar final in London.

Victory ended a decade-long wait for the 43-year-old (above) to land a first Masters title since his maiden triumph in 2015.

And ahead of his first-round showdown with rising Chinese star Wu Yize tomorrow, Murphy is ready to impress in front of a capacity crowd of 2,200 people.
