Arteta: Give Gyokeres time to find his best form for Gunners

MIKEL ARTETA says Viktor Gyokeres needs to be "left alone" to find his best form at Arsenal, with the current sample size too small to draw major conclusions.

The Sweden star has come in for some criticism, with many split on the striker's start to life in north London, following a mixture of encouraging and difficult displays.

Gabriel Jesus' return to action with an impressive cameo in the win over Club Brugge has only brought the centre-forward discussion into greater focus.

Arteta, however, feels as though there is scope for both Jesus (below right) and Gyokeres to operate together and not just in place of one another.

"That would be very strong, and both players probably like to play a little bit shifted to the left side, and can interchange in that position, which is something we have not had yet," said the Gunners boss.
