Adolescence star Owen now youngest male Emmy winner

A mere six months ago, Owen Cooper was just a lad from Warrington.
But now the 15-year-old Adolescence star has the world at his feet, the youngest male actor to win an Emmy and the centre of attention at the awards.
It's not bad for someone on their first acting gig.
The moment was not lost on the teenager as he accepted the gong for outstanding supporting actor in a limited or anthology series or movie.
He told a crowd at the Peacock Theater in LA: "Standing up here is just, wow, it's just so surreal.
