Kop boss Arne stunned by Wolves... and there's not a set-piece goal in sight
MOHAMED SALAH ended his Premier League goal drought - but could not save Liverpool from embarrassment at rock-bottom Wolves.
A goal 12 minutes from time from substitute Rodrigo Gomes had Arne Slot's side tumbling to defeat at a chilly Molineux.
However, Salah struck back just five minutes later.
It was the Egyptian's first Premier League goal in 11 games, a run which stretched back to November. But in the fourth minute of stoppage time Wolves midfielder Andre snatched an unlikely winner for Rob Edwards' side as the defending champions slipped to a shock defeat.
On an evening of few opportunities, Liverpool dominated possession throughout.
But they showed little sign of breaking down the rearguard of the improving Midlanders.
The defeat sees the Reds miss the chance to make further inroads in the battle for Champions League qualification.
