Ex-pathologist: Weekends at murder scenes only times I got to dress up

FORMER State pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy has explained that she was known for being glamorous in the morbid business of her old job because she "did not get out at the weekend".

Prof Cassidy often stood out for her attire - which included heels and lipstick under her regulatory protective clothing.

Marie said yesterday: "The job was all consuming. I didn't have a normal weekend, so going out, which might be a terrible thing to say, to a mortuary or a murder scene - that was my weekend.
