SHAMROCKS' APPEAL OVER FERBANE LOSS
October 01, 2025
|Irish Daily Mirror
THE Snamrocks club have objected to the result of their Offaly SFC quarterfinal defeat to Ferbane.
-
Shamrocks lost an engrossing encounter by a point, 3-15 to 2-17, having held a six-point lead early in the second half.
But it is an incident in the sixth minute of the game on which their objection hinges, albeit club chairman Anthony Hanniffy was critical of various other aspects of the performance by referee Chris Dwyer.
