ARTIFICIAL intelligence could be exploited by states hostile to Ireland at the next general and European elections, a senator claimed yesterday
Fianna Fail’s Malcolm Byrne said AI is changing virtually every aspect of society and could disrupt the democratic process. He added the biggest challenge facing the new Independent Electoral Commission will be protecting the integrity of the polls.
