Awesome Antoine keeps Cherries on track to seal historic place in Europe
EVEN players came through the doors at Bournemouth - but their best signing this summer was already in the building.
Two months after penning a oneyear contract extension at the Vitality Stadium, Antoine Semenyo continued his incredible start to the campaign with another goal and an assist.
The Ghanaian, who was of interest to Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool, provided the pass for Alex Scott's stunning opener and rolled in a penalty after Kaoru Mitoma equalised.
His ice-cool spot-kick extended his tally to three goals and two assists in four Premier League matches for Andoni Iraola's men, who have established themselves as a dark horse in the race for European football.
Team-mate Marcus Tavernier (inset) hailed the Cherries board for extending his deal and said: "It's every club's dream to have a player like Antoine. The best thing for us was for him to sign a new deal and show the intent the club has.
