Pair on drugs & cash raps 'link to crime'

TWO men appeared in court yesterday after two vehicles were intercepted and drugs and cash seized, allegedly linked to a “well resourced organised crime group that poses a threat to the community”.

Gary Owens, 45, of Ashbrook, Clogherboy in Navan, Co Meath and Kenneth McMorrow, 46, of Bective Park, Kilmessan, Co Meath, appeared before Judge Eirinn McKiernan at Trim District Court.

There were arrested on Monday during an operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in Baronstown, Co Meath.
