Moyes knows he needs a team of Toffees idols to make new stadium rock

- BY CHRIS MCKENNA

DAVID MOYES believes Everton moving to a new stadium is the start of a romance - but to make it a marriage that will last they need to build a good team.

The Toffees boss is excited for his side to play their first Premier League game at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock against Brighton tomorrow.

It's a brand new era for the club in their swanky ground, but now the challenge is having a team which can shine there to maintain the love.

Moyes knows they need more players this summer or the mood will soon change around the club.

"New romance? We've got a new stadium that we can fall in love with," he said.

"That long marriage means a lot to do with how the team is and what team we put on the pitch over the years to come."
