Mum takes cops to 2nd location, where she says they buried child after 'panicking' when he died
September 08, 2025
|Irish Daily Mirror
THE mother of a missing boy presumed dead has shown officers a new spot in the stretch of land where she claims his remains were secretly buried.
We can also reveal the mother claims she and her then partner kept his body in their apartment for 24 hours after he died before burying him the next night.
The search for the boy, who was just over three when he was last seen in 2021, started last Monday on the Portrane Road in Donabate, north Co Dublin.
This came after the child’s mother initially indicated a spot where she said he is buried.
However, The Star can reveal the mother attended the search scene again on Saturday evening, accompanied by her solicitor Martin O'Donnell of Morgan Redmond Solicitors and investigators from Swords Garda Station, where she pointed out a new area where she claims she is “adamant” the child is buried.
The search now continues in the new spot as dozens of officers scour the stretch of land, which is around 4km from the apartment block where the child was last seen alive.
