MOUSINHO'S AIMING TO BE EARLY RISERS

JOHN MOUSINHO insists the sky's the limit for Portsmouth - as long as they avoid a repeat of last season's nightmare start.

Pompey won one of their first 14 games on their return to the Championship 12 months ago before recovering to secure a mid-table finish.

Ahead of the opening day trip to his former club Oxford, Mousinho (above) said: “We'll look to get off to a better start. If we manage that and pick up a few points, then who knows where the season can take us?”

Elliott Moore believes the Championship will be even tougher this season and the Oxford skipper said: “There are bigger teams in there than last year.”
