Daragh cycling 12,500km to Everest for charity
DESTINATION Mount Everest in the Himalayas
A YOUNG man will set off on a big challenge next month as he plans to cycle all the way from Ireland to the Mount Everest base camp.
Daragh Cronin, from Blackrock in Co Cork, spent most of last year pedalling the entire length of Africa, and is believed to be the youngest and fastest Irish person to do so.
And next month, the 23-year-old will get back on his bike with his sights set on the tallest mountain in the world - a feat no Irish person has ever done before.
