Ugochukwu feeling the Clarets love after Maresca Bridge break up

- BY ANDY DEAN

LESLEY UGOCHUKWU was given only 15 games to prove himself before being sold by Chelsea but insists he is not out for revenge when he faces his former side this lunchtime.

The France Under-21 midfielder has been one of the standout performers for Burnley on their return to the Premier League after a £23million switch to Turf Moor in the summer.

He already has two goals to his name, including the opener in the 2-0 win over Leeds last month, after being deployed in an advanced midfield role by Clarets boss Scott Parker.

But Ugochukwu failed to impress Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca enough to become part of the Italians long-term plans at Stamford Bridge.
