John: Ollie can really inspire us
September 11, 2025
|Irish Daily Mirror
JOHN CAULFIELD feels the most fitting tribute Galway United can pay Ollie Horgan is to produce performances that get results.
The Tribesmen were back in action on Sunday - a 1-0 defeat at Shelbourne - in their first game since former assistant Horgan passed away at the end of August.
Caulfield and Horgan were close, as the front men of the managerial team until Horgan had to step down in recent weeks due to ill health.
Galway United travel to Richmond Park on Sunday for an FAI Cup quarterfinal clash against St Patrick's Athletic.
