Jay's tears for Tom

THE Wanted singer Jay McGuiness breaks down over his late bandmate Tom Parker in moving scenes on BBC show Pilgrimage.

Jay, 34, wept during a chat with comedian Helen Lederer and said later: “I cried more than I’ve ever cried.”

The boyband star had to take a break from filming, telling 70-year-old Helen: “I need to have a little cry in the toilet.”

Tom died aged 33 in March 2022 from a brain tumour, leaving behind wife Kelsey and their two children.

On whether he talked to his fellow singer, he’s.after filming: “I have, yes. It’s a conversation which [will] always be coloured by the question of, like, ‘Can you even hear this?’.
