Sutton says any repeat of transfer chaos could force out Rodgers
CHRIS SUTTON insists Brendan Rodgers would be forgiven for walking out on Celtic on the back of the club's deadline day disaster.
The Hoops sold Adam Idah to Swansea City for £6m but failed to land any frontline replacements before the window shut on Monday night.
Celtic chiefs were trying to scramble a deal for free agent Kelechi Iheanacho after the former Leicester City hitman’s Sevilla contract was ripped up.
‘And last night they made contact with former Leeds striker Patrick Bamford (right), 31, who left Elland Road over the weekend after seven years.
But Parkhead legend Sutton reckons Rodgers has been badly let down and couldn't be blamed for packing his bags.
