Newcastle crisis talks break down as rebel striker still wants Liverpool move

ALEXANDER ISAK is determined to quit St James’ Park - even after crisis talks with the Newcastle hierarchy.

Toon striker Isak repeated his desire to move before the transfer window shuts on Monday and has his heart set on joining Liverpool.

The Reds have had one bid of £110million turned down and will go back if they get any encouragement, but they are miles away from meeting Newcastle's £150m valuation.

Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan (right) is trying to broker an agreement which would see Isak remain at St James’ Park.
