IRELAND coach Andy Farrell has stated he will be heading to Australia in two years’ time to bring the Webb Ellis Cup home.

The Ireland squad were handed a dream draw for the 2027 World Cup. Their path to the final runs through Scotland in their pool, Argentina in the quarterfinals, and either Australia or England in the semis.

For context, Ireland have not lost to Scotland since 2017, have won nine of their last ten clashes with Argentina, hold a five-game winning streak against Australia, and have beaten England five times in eight encounters.
