Palace boss is serious about all games... especially with a trophy up for grabs

OLIVER GLASNER has become so obsessed with winning even losing a game of Connect Four to his daughter felt like failure.

The Crystal Palace boss does not view any match where silverware is up for grabs as a glorified friendly.

Instead, he wants to fire the Eagles to their second trophy in four months at Wembley after FA Cup glory last season (Glasner celebrating, below).

Speaking ahead of tomorrow's showdown with Liverpool in the Community Shield, the Austrian said: "For me, when you play a final and when you play for silverware, you always want to win it.

"I mention it so often, sometimes I felt like this when we were talking about the Carabao Cup we enter a competition to win it.
