Hennessy brothers among five facing fresh charges over 'man branded as rat'

NEW "criminal organisation" charges have been brought against five men accused of attacking a man and "branding the word 'rat' to the face and torso".

Brothers Jason Hennessy Jnr, 28, Devon Hennessy, 29, and Brandon Hennessy, 22, of Sheephill Avenue - as well as Kenneth Fitzsimons, 45, and his son, Dean Fitzsimons, 24, of Castlecurragh Vale, Dublin 15 - were remanded in custody earlier in connection with an alleged incident last February 12 at the Hennessys' home.
