Healy aiming for 3,000m Nanjing glory

IRELAND'S newest championship gold medallist Sarah Healy will attack the World Indoors 3,000m final in Nanjing, China, knowing that there is loads more in her.

Healy, 24, became Ireland's first podium topper in a major championship since 2007 when she claimed victory in the European Indoors in the Netherlands a fortnight ago.

Ireland haven't won a medal of any colour at the World Indoors since Derval O'Rourke's 60m hurdles gold in Moscow in 2006.

Healy admits she would love a crack at bridging the gap in the final, which takes place at 11am Irish time tomorrow.
