ONE of Ireland's most famous relics is in need of a keeper - and applications are open for just one week to find the best candidate.

Cork’s historic Blarney Castle are looking for someone to carry out the important job of holding visitors as they learn over the rampart and kiss the renowned Blarney Stone.
