DELACROIX is a drifter for the Betfred Derby – despite being confirmed as the choice of Ryan Moore at Epsom on Saturday.
A total of 19 runners – the biggest field since Kris Kin beat 19 rivals in 2003 – will line up for the colts’ Classic.
As expected, Moore (below) opted to partner Delacroix in preference to Aidan O’Brien stablemates The Lion In Winter, ridden by Colin Keane, and Lambourn (Wayne Lordan).
