Walker may pull Almagam out of Eclipse
ED WALKER yesterday said he is worried “big time” about the heatwave ahead of Saturday's Coral-Eclipse Stakes.
The Lambourn trainer is desperate to prove he has a champion in Almagam, the only horse to have defeated hot favourite Ombudsman.
But the ground will need to be good or softer at Sandown for the Brigadier Gerard Stakes winner to be in the line-up for the £1 million race.
