Senne doing a Sar turn

- BY JACK FLINTHAM

SENNE LAMMENS says he can see similarities between himself and legendary former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.

The United No.1 arrived at Old Trafford on deadline day last summer and has cemented his place after sitting out the first three Premier League matches following his transfer from Royal Antwerp.

Belgian Lammens, 23, made his debut in the 2-0 win over Sunderland in October and has since kept four clean sheets and conceded 28 goals in 22 appearances.

Ahead of tonight's trip to Everton Lammens was asked about the previous United goalkeepers he looked up to.

He told Premier League Productions: "Growing up, David De Gea was and is still a big goalkeeper in the world, especially those years when he was at his height in this club.
