Drone blitz hits Kyiv cabinet site

First strike on government Baby boy among four dead

RUSSIA hit one of Ukraine's key government buildings for the first time, in a drone and missile blitz that killed four people.

The cabinet of ministers building in Kyiv was ablaze after the attack, with damage to its roof and upper floors.

It was the first time government offices had been hit in the heavily defended Pecherskyi district of the capital.

The strike early yesterday was also the heaviest aerial bombardment since Rusia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022.

Those killed included a mother and her two-month-old son, who died when their residential building was hit in Kyiv.
