Sara Cox hosts a new show where members of the public can have their fondest memories turned into miniature models

- WORDS: JO BERRY

DJ and TV presenter Sara Cox is in her element presenting The Marvellous Miniature Workshop, as she knows the exact moment in her life she would like to be recreated in miniature model form.

"I think it'd be when I was 12 and my dad bought back my childhood pony at Christmas," she says. "I'd broken my arm falling off my pony, Gus, but I didn't own Gus any more; he'd gone out on loan to somebody else for a while, but my dad got him back for me. It was a really mega moment in my life.

"That morning there had been lots of whispering and nudging, and then somebody knocked on the door. I went out, and Gus was stood there looking all sparkly, but also slightly confused because he had no idea what was happening, bless him.
