Crown estate may have to pay €570k over his eviction..

ANDREW Mountbatten Windsor could be in line for a €570,000 payout when he's evicted from Royal Lodge.

The disgraced royal, 65, may be due the Crown Estate payment as he is being forced to leave the 30-room mansion in Windsor earlier than expected.

He paid more than €9.1 million upfront to rent and renovate the property in 2003 when he moved in.

But the terms stated that he could claim some of the money back if he left within the first 25 years.

Andrew, who has already surrendered his lease on Royal Lodge, may not move from the mansion to Sandringham until after Christmas, because of the lengthy process of giving up his home.

The Norfolk estate is also venue for the traditional Christmas gathering for members of the royal family.
