Tributes to Stephen after horror on road

A MAN WHO lost his life in a crash with a crane is being remembered as a “kind, gent of a man who would do anything for anyone”.

Stephen Mooney was killed on the Clonbullogue to Edenderry Road in Co Offaly on Wednesday after the van he was driving was hit by a crane which came loose from a truck.

The road has since been reopened after a technical examination of the scene. Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
