CHARLIE SMYTH is making a name for himself nearly 4,500 miles from home.

- BY ANDREW GAMBLE

He became something of a New Orleans Saints hero after he kicked the game-winning field goal in the tight win over the Carolina Panthers.

And Smyth will be back in action on Sunday against Tennessee Titans.

The former Gaelic footballer signed with the Saints in 2024 as a member of the NFL's International Player Pathway programme, utilised by former Wales rugby winger Louis Rees-Zammit.
