Comic is set for court trial in 2026
RUSSELL Brand will face a trial next year after he appeared in court yesterday to deny five charges of rape, sexual assault and indecent assault.
The full trial of the comedian and actor, 49, is expected to last four to five weeks, beginning in June 2026.
The charges are one of rape, one of indecent assault, one of oral rape and two counts of sexual assault. They relate to four complainants, all women.
